EunJi Sung, from South Korea, undertook a residency in Masterton in 2018.
With an MFA in Choreography from the University of Roehampton in London, her work is interdisciplinary - across and beyond the stage, screen, studio and gallery.
EunJi Sung comes from a traditional Korean dance background and has been working on the relationship between the notion of time and the body, across performance art and visual art contexts.
Sung’s artistic practice focuses on looking at a body as a moving archive.
While in residence in 2018, her research took the body as the subject of an archive.
